Fall Events at Atlantic Station

Ah, fall. Every Atlantan’s favorite time of year. It’s still hot, but not quite SO sweltering, which means you can spend more time outside with friends and family.

We pulled together a lineup of fun events for you to enjoy at Atlantic Station this season. Read on to find out more about each one!

Meditation & Mimosas

September 12, October 24

Find your zen at Meditation & Mimosas, our newest wellness series with atl kula. Guests will be led through a beginner meditation and can top off the morning with a fresh mimosa. The program is sure to kick off your week on a high note—or at the very least, a bubbly one!

Tiny Doors Studio Open House

August 21, September 18, October 16, November 20, December 18

The creative mastermind behind the miniature doorways seen around the city is also Atlantic Station’s Artist-in-Residence, and she’s been kind enough to open her (full-sized) doors to the public! Meet Karen Anderson Singer, check out her gallery of retired tiny doors and purchase a t-shirt to take home.

AfroPunk Festival

September 25 – 26

Live music lives! Get a taste of black culture at the AfroPunk Festival, which returns to Atlanta, Georgia and Brooklyn, New York for 2021. Headliners at the Atlanta festival include big names like Wale & The People, Smino and Rico Nasty. The whole weekend is centered around bringing together producers, supporters, allies and consumers of Black culture, and each day of the festival will include a unique lineup of curated music performances and culturally relevant programming.

Road Races

Reach your fitness and philanthropy goals this fall by participating in a pair of road races kicking off at Atlantic Station. First, the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation Race for Research will bring together supporters on September 25. Proceeds from the 5K run and 1K tot trot will benefit brain cancer research and the important work being done by the Foundation.

If you want to push your limits a month later, consider running the PNC 10-Miler & 5K, presented by the Atlanta Track Club. The race will take place on October 17, and if 10 miles doesn’t sound like fun, you can always try to beat your September 5K time in the shorter race distance.

Food Festivals

Atlanta Grilled Cheese Festival – September 11

Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival – September 18

Atlanta Pizza Festival – October 2

Grilled Cheese, Pizza and BBQ—oh my! We’re hosting an epic lineup of food festivals right here at the Station.

In September, get your fill of ooey-gooey grilled cheeses made by chefs from around the city. Then, learn to pair BBQ with craft beers and bourbons just a week later.

In October, chefs from around the world will show off their dough-throwing skills at the Atlanta Pizza Festival in its inaugural year. Mmm…we’re getting hungry just thinking about it!

Recurring Events

Of course, our marquee events will continue through the fall, weather permitting. Wellness Wednesdays with atl kula take place every—you guessed it—Wednesday through September on Atlantic Green, while our Maker’s Market continues on Saturdays and Sundays and features a rotating group of local vendors.
